Updates from grad school

Last semester was stressful since I was taking so many hours to graduate and get out of there, but now I'm done with my BA, so I guess it was worth it. Currently I'm doing my MLIS and trying to get done next spring so I can head off again. I want to try and get a job in a military library somewhere. I miss traveling around a lot, so I figure that military libraries are going to be my best way to get to live somewhere else for a while. There are other options if that doesn't pan out, but it's my main plan right now. Of course I have to finish the rest of this year's classes and pass my test in the end, but hopefully that won't be horribly hard.

Hi everybody. I'm back home. Yeah. I know I still have one more post and pictures do for Japan, but I've been busy since I got back so I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll try to get it done soon. On the bright side I have an apartment for next semester, and I'm all set up for classes. I actually managed to not have early classes for once. My earliest is at 10:30 on Friday, but the rest of the week they're not till 12:30. Although I still do have a couple classes on Friday which I would have liked to avoid. Oh well. I'm kind of excited to go back though since I haven't seen all my OSU friends in like a year. That's pretty much it. I'll try to finish off my Japan blog soon, after that my only new posts will be here.

Okay I know I said that I'd have my KG blog up and running before I left. Didn't happen, but I'm working on it now, and as I don't have any Monday classes I'll have plenty of time then to sort it all out and update you guys on how my first week in Japan went. So look for it on whatever Monday afternoon my time translates to for you guys. Also let's get some posting on the family blog. If you haven't been invited to it, it is probably because I don't have your e-mail address, so get that to me and I'll add you on the list. (Note that this is just for people related to me. Everybody else feel free to leave comments on whichever part of my blog you like though.) Anyways, if you are already on the list you can write posts too. So let's here what's been going on.

I have mostly sorted out my UCC blog issues, and I'll try to post the slideshow on this page when I bring my laptop to school next, I just keep forgetting. Please post UCC specific comments on that blog, but general comments can be posted here, as well as any general questions. I'll keep checking the comments on this page, but I probably won't post here any more till I get home in December, except to reply to things. Just in case you would prefer to email me, it is in my profile.

Technical difficulties

I'm still having some problems, which I could fix if I hauled my laptop over here, but as that is not going to happen I'll try to fix them tonight and repost tomorrow, so with any luck it will look somewhat like I want it too. I did make the font a different color in the UCC blog, it just hasn't updated yet. It should do that in the next couple hours, and I'll work on getting it centered, but the lab is closing soon, so I don't really have time for that right now. I don't have class tomorrow though, so I'll try to get that done along with the other stuff I need to do.

Basics

Hi everybody this is the center of my blog, the part I will use when I’m home, or to announce updates across the board as well as hosting tutorials (primarily hints for study abroad that aren’t applicable to only Ireland/Japan).
The blogs are primarily a way to communicate with my family while I’m in Ireland and Japan, but anyone who’s is interested can read them and leave comments. I’m also available through email, although I don’t have as much internet access here as I do at home, so it only gets checked about once a day.
If you really need to get in touch with me, my mom has my phone number here, and I do get free incoming calls. She also has my address in case anybody needs that.
Since I’m currently in Ireland you can feel free to move straight on to that, the slide show on this page is just pictures of OSU, and Stillwater stuff.
